YarnWorks Studio on Etsy

I'm pleased to announce that I've finally got my YarnWorks Studio store open on Etsy. I'll be loading it with more scarves throughout this month, so be sure to stop by for a visit.

Winter Holiday Shopping Extravaganza

This Saturday PaperCraft Princess is setting up shop in the lovely City of Orange for a "Winter Shopping Extravaganza" that will host a variety of vendors. Some of the vendors (like myself) will be offering handmade items #shophandmade #shoplocal

Those of you who are familiar with PaperCraft Princess are used to seeing mainly supplies in my shop. (That is the point of why I bring my little boutique to private [ie non-store] cropping events -- as a source for items you may run out of or have forgotten to bring with you.)

My booth at this weekend's craft fair will be a little different (no supplies!) I'll be selling lots of samples from past classes and projects done for various design team assignments. So what does that include? There will be mini albums (paper bag albums and chipboard albums), there will be tags and altered items, there will be LOTS of general occasion greeting cards.

In addition to all the papercrafting goodness, I'm also debuting handcrafted crocheted scarves and infinity cowls in different colors and patterns. Here are just a few:

I'll be running two specials this weekend:

• First, all papercrafting items are BUY 2 - GET 1 FREE (free item is of equal or lesser value); and
• Second, crocheted items are BUY 1 - GET 1 at 50% off on all items

The Winter Holiday Shopping Extravaganza is a two-day indoor event that takes place this weekend from 11am to 4pm both days. Unfortunately, I am only able to be there on Saturday.

PaperCraft Princess: on the Prowl Again!

Tomorrow I will be teaching a little mini book class at a private crop in Diamond Bar. Here's a peek:

"Lazy Days" Mini Book Class

This will be the first large crop that I'm taking my traveling boutique to so it should be interesting to see if I've really got this down to a science or not.

I guess I haven't mentioned it here (seeing as I haven't blogged for many months), but my adventure in traveling has been quite a learning experience. I've simplifed my trunk show and can actually get the whole boutique set up in about a half an hour or so. I'm not schlepping as many cases and things as I was at the onset, so that's a plus too.

Of course, part of what has made it all about a gazillion times easier is my awesome assistant Celina, who is better than my right arm. She can jump in and do whatever is needed from setting up, being teacher's aide to writing orders, tearing down and cleaning up. She's the bomb!

I won't have Celina with me tomorrow. (Stops to cry big salty tears...)

But I'm a big girl. I actually do the whole set-up & tear down for my monthly crops all by myself. And this is just an extension of that, right?  (only with about four times the people -lol!)
